Virtual Art Exhibit: Carol Vandenbelt

Carol lives in Central Florida with her husband, David, and their 16 year old Granddaughter, Emmaline. Hiking has been a long time hobby for Carol and her husband. Since retiring in June of 2020, Carol and David go out walking every morning. These photos are the results of the morning walks. Most, but not all, of these photos were taken, while walking, at the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive.

Virtual Art Exhibit: Maureen Roe

Maureen was born in Cork in and studied fine art at the Crawford College of Art and Design. She continued her studies in print at the Croydon Art College where she exhibited after graduation in 1991 Bold, bright and dynamic. Just a few words to describe her work. Although the work is based on landscapes with people, it is fused with strong colours to create striking results. The beauty of the natural world and especially the raw energy evident in the Irish landscape is the inspirational force in her work. Maureen has continued to work in oil developing her own particular style where her use of colour is beautifully balanced by her feeling for texture and impasto. She also teaches Art and Design at the Cork CIT. Her work is in private collections all over the world.
