We are participating in the Community Foundation‘s Mohawk Valley Gives, a day of donations for nonprofits in Herkimer and Oneida Counties! We are also excited to announce that the UpMobility Foundation will be providing us with a match to make your donations have a greater impact! Any donation made online at givemv.org between September 13th and 30th will be eligible for a 2:1 match from UpMobility up to $50,000 as well as giving us a New Donor Bonus to encourage new donors to donate. Any self identified New Donors will give us an additional $300 per online gift up to $9,000. All donations benefit the library’s efforts to provide a variety of programming to the community at no charge!

The fun doesn’t stop there! Join us on September 19th from 4pm-8pm for a joint Open House Kickoff event with Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts! We will have the China Room open, great art on display, light refreshments, and computers and assistance available on site for anyone who would like to make an early donation! We can’t wait to celebrate this awesome event with you all!
