Queen Victoria Lecture – March 25th

Queen Victoria ruled from 1837 – 1901 in England – a period of time when women wore a fascinating array of changing fashions; including hoop skirts, corsets, & bustles. Queen Victoria was so influential a figure that we often refer to the period as the Victorian Era. This free lecture explores the fashions Victoria & her peers wore – and the fashion she helped popularize, such as white wedding dresses. This is a free lecture! Patrons must register to attend, we have a sign up sheet available on the bulletin board in the library, if you can’t make it in to sign up, you can also reserve a space by calling us during our hours of operation or by leaving a message or comment on our Facebook page!
